How ShelfStep offers work
Free time on ShelfStep never needs a card and is never charged. When it runs out, your workspace moves to Free and keeps everything.
The free trial
- A new workspace gets 30 days of Pro free.
- No card is needed, and nothing is ever charged. When the trial ends, the workspace moves to Free on its own and keeps everything you entered.
- One trial per person. Making another workspace with the same email, a variation of it, or after deleting a workspace doesn’t start a new one.
- Extra brand workspaces made on Studio don’t get a trial.
Founding makers
- The first 25 new workspaces get 90 days of Pro free, instead of the regular trial.
- Places are limited.
- It counts as your one trial, and like the trial it needs no card and ends on its own.
Invites
- Every workspace has an invite link under Plan & billing.
- The maker you invite gets 30 days of Pro free, added after any trial they already have. It works for a workspace made in the last 7 days.
- You get 30 days of Pro when, within 14 days of joining through your link, the maker you invited starts a launch, completes a step on it, and uses ShelfStep again on a later day. Anything they set up before joining doesn’t count. The days are added after any free time you already have, and you can earn up to 6 months this way.
- If you already pay for a plan, the days you earn are recorded on your invite card but not added as free time. They still count toward the limit.
- No self-referrals: your own workspaces, or a workspace that shares a team member with yours, can’t use your link.
- An invite link only works for a workspace that hasn’t used a code or an invite yet.
- Invites don’t apply to a workspace that already pays for a plan.
Codes
- A workspace can redeem several different ShelfStep codes. Each code works once per workspace.
- Time from a code adds on: it starts after any free time you already have on the same plan or higher. A code for a higher plan starts right away.
The limits
- Free time has no cash value. It can’t be exchanged for money or credit, or moved to another person or workspace.
- ShelfStep may change or end these offers for new sign-ups at any time.
- Time already granted runs to its end date, unless the offer was abused. For example: fake workspaces made to collect invite rewards.
- Your use of ShelfStep, free time included, is covered by the Terms.
