The service terms
Your recipe stays yours — Marco sees it only to set it up with you. This one page is the rest: what you get, what it costs, and whose decisions are whose. Stripe asks you to tick that you have read it when you pay; there is nothing to sign.
1. What you get
Three sittings with Marco, two hours each, within two weeks: the recipe and the pack; the rules and the label; the cost, the lot and the shelf.
We sit together in person in Fort Wayne or on a video call.
It ends when you log your second lot without Marco on the call.
2. What it costs, and the refund
$400 for a home or cottage maker, or $900 for a restaurant or kitchen, paid up front through Stripe.
If we have not reached a printed label by the end of sitting three, Marco issues a full refund through Stripe; you do not have to ask for it.
ShelfStep is free while we work and for 30 days after; then it is the plan you choose, and you can cancel any time.
3. Your recipe stays yours
Marco sees your recipe only to set it up with you. He does not copy it, keep it outside ShelfStep, share it, or use it for anyone else’s product.
It is yours before, during and after; ShelfStep claims nothing in it.
Deleting your workspace removes its recipe records; ordinary backups expire within 30 days. Records under a hold are explained in the Privacy Policy.
If you want Marco to sign a separate confidentiality letter first, write to hello@shelfstep.com and he will.
4. Whose decisions are whose
Marco organises your records and the app with you.
Whether you may sell your product, which rules apply to it, what its label must say and whether your kitchen qualifies are decisions you make, or a licensed professional makes for you.
ShelfStep shows you where to look. ShelfStep keeps the records; those decisions stay yours.
5. The app
ShelfStep’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy cover the software itself.
6. The other services
Reviewed and ready, $250: one sitting in which Marco puts your recipe, your trial record and your pH together into what a process authority asks for, and reads the answer into ShelfStep when it comes back.
Label review, $120: one hour with Marco on your printed label draft, which you leave with corrections written on it. ShelfStep records who reviewed it and when; it does not approve a label.
An hour a month, $99 a month: for makers past their first launch, one hour with Marco each month on whatever is next.
Reviewed and ready and Label review: Paid up front. If the sitting does not happen, Marco issues a full refund through Stripe.
An hour a month: Billed monthly through Stripe. Cancel any time — one email to hello@shelfstep.com and it stops at the end of the month.
Your recipe stays yours — Marco sees it only to set it up with you. Sections 3, 4 and 5 apply to these services as they do to the first launch.
